Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
A great big thank you to everyone who helped to make this campaign a success! Thanks to all the individual donations we we're able to secure 10,000 buttons for the students as well as 100+ t-shirts for the Parade!
As they move forward in their campaign to get GSAs in all Catholic schools, the students will continue to need the support of our communities! Keep your eyes peeled as the Parade is just the beginning of Catholic Students for GSAs.
As well, don't forget to let any students you know who may be interested in marching in the Parade to check out the Facebook group for more details: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=185103044872696
Thanks again for all your support and see you July 3!

Cheaper Buttons Means Time for T-Shirts!
Greetings!
Thanks to some resourceful moves on the part of a supporter of the cause, we have now sourced out a supplier that can provide the buttons to us at a lower cost.
What does this mean? It means that if we can raise the extra couple of hundred dollars to get this Chip In to or past 100%, we can afford t-shirts for the youth for the Parade!
If you haven't donated to "Catholic Students for GSAs", please consider giving a donation to the campaign.
Thanks again to everyone who has donated thus far and keep your eyes open for more details regarding the Parade!

Update! Within 24 hours, we have reached our goal of $1500!
Thanks to the donations of many individuals plus a whopping donation of $750 by a donor who chooses to remain anonymous, we have reached our goal of $1500 within 24 hours! Thanks to your generous donations, the St. Joes GSA will be able to buy and distribute 5000 buttons at this year's Pride Toronto Festival!
After speaking with Leanne, we're going to keep fundraising past our initial goal of $1500 so that we can produce even more buttons to give out! We will continue to run the campaign until the ChipIn Widget hits $1500 which along with the $750 donation, will give us enough money to purchase a whopping 10,000 buttons!
Thanks to each and everyone of you who has donated, tweeted, e-mailed, posted, facebooked, told a friend or done anything to help make this campaign a success! The love and support shown by so many of you from all over the world is greatly appreciated and the St. Joes GSA thanks you for your continued support as they continue to fight for GSAs in Catholic Schools!
It doesn't end here though, tell your friends about the Facebook event for "Catholic Students for GSAs" and encourage any Catholic students you know to march with them in the Parade! Their battle has just begun and as allies, we must do all we can to support them!

Catholic Students for GSAs Needs Your Help!
The youth at St. Joe's are bringing their battle to this year's Toronto Pride Parade! Forming the student led, student driven contingent called Catholic Students for GSAs, they are now turning to you to help fund their efforts in their continued battle to have GSAs in Catholic schools.
To help further spread their message, the youth want to create buttons and to do so they need your help. In the words of group founder and this year's Honoured Dyke and Youth Grand Marshall Leanne Iskander:
"Marching in Pride is important to us because it will allow us to advocate for GSAs in Catholic Schools to a large audience. Handing out buttons will be an excellent way to spread the message that GSAs are needed in Catholic Schools."
What they are aiming for is to be able to produce 5000+ (1.25 inch) buttons. To do so, it will run about $1300-1500 including all the associated taxes and fees.
So my friends, get on it! Donate however much you can and let's help make this request a reality!
Thanks for your support!
